3 habits that are holding you back from success

You want to be successful, you want to be able to do things that you want to do. You have excellent ideas about what you should do and you also decide that you are going to start doing those things which will help you to become successful. But even though you want to do them, you are not able to do them.


Maybe it’s the habits that you have which are holding you back from success. You have everything but because of these three habits you are not able to achieve anything.


This is one of the worst habits. If you have this habit of self-doubt you will not be able to achieve anything. When you have self-doubt, you’re not going to even start doing things. If somehow you manage to start, after some time you will drop them and leave them. Self-doubt will always tell you that “You can’t do it.”

When this happens repeatedly, after some time you will start believing that you really “can’t do it.” And when you have that believe, you’re not even going to try it. Do you expect anything to happen when you don’t even try it? Do you expect anything to happen when you don’t put your 100% and leave things in the middle?

Blaming others

If something negative happens or when you fail, you can do two things-you can blame others for the fault, the failure or the events that happened or you can take the responsibility. If you blame other people for the failure and the faults, you will be failed to achieve what you wanted. When you blame others, you don’t get the chance to improve yourself so that you can achieve what you wanted. People will also start hating and avoiding you and without people, how can you achieve success? This is a habits that you must change if you want to be successful.

It’ll be better to replace this habit with the habit of taking responsibility for the failure and the faults. But you don’t have to stop there. After taking responsibility, you need to make sure that you not repeating the same mistakes and you’re trying to improve so that the next time you succeed in achieving what you want.

Not focusing

If you are not focusing on the task, the goals and what you want to achieve, how can you expect to become successful? Many people have the habit of keep doing things without any focus at all and then they get surprised when they do not get the results they wanted. Unless you focus on the task at hand and the goals that you want to achieve, how are you going to achieve them? Many people are involved in multitasking these days. When you try to multitask, you are dividing you focus on different things at a given point of time. Without the undivided attention in a particular area, you’ll not be able to give your 100% and you will miss many things which are very important for becoming successful in that.

Let’s focus on only one thing at one point of time and once it is done you can easily move to the next one. You will not only get more done, you will also be able to them with better quality.

If you want to be successful, you will have to eliminate these three habits. Changing habits is not a very easy task but it is humanly possible and if you want you can change your habits including these three deadly habits which are holding you back from success.
